Evaluating Mapping Projects

Work with a partner to evaluate two of the following mapping projects. Identify the map’s key features and try to answer the following questions:

• What argument does this map make?
• How does it communicate its argument?
• What do you have to know in advance to understand this map?

Write up your answers and be prepared to discuss the projects as a class. You will also turn your write-up in at the end of class.
